Early Life

His father want's hawking to choose medical field, but hawking's interest towards the mathematics but due to absence of mathematics in the university he then finally chosen physics. After 3 years he got owners degree in natural science. At the age of 21-22 hawking's got the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis which is the type of motor neuron and its treatment not possible, from then he paralyzed and came to wheel chair.


He had 13 college degree, had done PHD on the subject "properties of expanding universe in 1965",which was published publicly by stephen hawking. his IQ level 160 which means more than the genius. He also had developed one computer along with his friends and called einstein by the professor. Year 1988 was very special for him when he published his first book "A brief history of time: from the big bang to black holes" also proposed black hole theory in 1974 which named as hawking radiation, in which he stated that black holes size can only be increases i.e. never decreases and it can't be possible to separate black holes into small black holes even if two black holes collide also given the idea of a mini black hole also given the theory of cosmology where with respect to general relativity we familiar with the universe(formation of milky way and stars). The film named "the theory of everything" released in 2014 which was purely based on hawking's life. Married twice, first was 1965 with jane wild (div. 1990) and then 1995 with mason which also ended in 2006. Doesn't believe in god.

Hawking's future prediction

  • Earth temperature will be 250 degree in the future.

  • Human's aggression is very dangerous that will prove as a disaster in the future. 

2 weeks before he passes away. He was  working on a project related to the parallel universe with Thomas Hertog Where he proved mathematically that there must be an edge of the universe, Presence of multiple universe, set of universe, their limitations. What was there just before the big bang no body knows, But parallel universe could be possible. If multiple universe exists then there must be some planet in our universe or some other universe also exists where Human development is just started, presence of dinosaur still there. Who is Stephen Hawking?



Stephen William Hawking, ( born 8 January 1942) is an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. His scientific works include a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.


Hawking is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the US. In 2002, Hawking was ranked number 25 in the BBC's poll of the 100 Greatest Britons. He was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 2009 and has achieved commercial success with works of popular science in which he discusses his own theories and cosmology in general; his book A Brief History of Time appeared on the British Sunday Times best-seller list for a record-breaking 237 weeks.

Hawking has a rare early-onset, slow-progressing form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) that has gradually paralysed him over the decades. He now communicates using a single cheek muscle attached to a speech-generating device.

Chapters in the Thesis?

Some implications and consequences of the expansion of the universe are examined. In Chapter 1 it is shown that this expansion creates grave difficulties for the Hoyle-Narlikar theory of gravitation. Chapter 2 deals with perturbations of an expanding homogeneous and isotropic universe. The conclusion is reached that galaxies cannot be formed as a result of the growth of perturbations that were initially small. The propagation and absorption of gravitational radiation is also investigated in this approximation. In Chapter 3 gravitational radiation in an expanding universe is examined by a method of asymptotic expansions. The 'peeling off' behaviour and the asymptotic group are derived. Chapter 4 deals with the occurrence of singularities in cosmological models. It is shown that a singularity is inevitable provided that certain very general conditions are satisfied.

People  who plan to view the solar eclipse should check the safety authenticity of viewing glasses to ensure they meet basic safety standards NASA has recommended. A total solar eclipse which is when the moon completely covers the sun or moon comes between the earth and the sun will occur across 14 states in the continental US on august 21 along a 112 KM wide swath of the country . more than 300 million people in the US potentially could directly view the solar eclipse and NASA wants everyone who will witness this celestial phenomenon to do so safely.

During the spring term for utilization of sun light more and more there is need to change the time and that change in time nothing but a day light saving time.

When it is in existence?

Starting of 20th century a scientist George warren Hudson idea of saving day light time.

How can we save day light time?

By increasing 1 hour in a watch during the spring and decreasing 1 hour  in a watch in summer.
70 country currently using day light saving time.

20% population of the world dependent on the day light saving time.

Greenwich mean time



A city Greenwich situated in England having a solar observatory, during the 18th century England was named as ocean power and they have Greenwich direction detector device.

Britain starts Greenwich mean time in 1676 in Greenwich observatory centre on the basis of two similar watches.

In 1852 Greenwich time announced publicly.

In 1884 in Washington with 25 other countries Greenwich certified as Prime meridian.

Greenwich rays separate the world in east and west zone and equator separate the world in north and south pole.

World’s +ve and –ve value of time observed on the basis of Greenwich rays.

Got the UTC certificate but mostly Greenwich mean time in use.

In the summer presence of sun almost 73 hour continuously but in winter presence of sun is almost nil.

Here sun sets after the midnight and rise just after the 4 o’clock in the morning between starting of the May and ending of the August.

Iceland


Here sun never be fully sets continuous revolving perpendicular.
