Free Download Stephen Hawking's PHD. Thesis "Properties of Expanding Universe" Published Publicly By Stephen Hawking.

Who is Stephen Hawking?

Stephen William Hawking, ( born 8 January 1942) is an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. His scientific works include a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.

Hawking is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the US. In 2002, Hawking was ranked number 25 in the BBC's poll of the 100 Greatest Britons. He was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 2009 and has achieved commercial success with works of popular science in which he discusses his own theories and cosmology in general; his book A Brief History of Time appeared on the British Sunday Times best-seller list for a record-breaking 237 weeks.

Hawking has a rare early-onset, slow-progressing form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) that has gradually paralysed him over the decades. He now communicates using a single cheek muscle attached to a speech-generating device.

Chapters in the Thesis?

Some implications and consequences of the expansion of the universe are examined. In Chapter 1 it is shown that this expansion creates grave difficulties for the Hoyle-Narlikar theory of gravitation. Chapter 2 deals with perturbations of an expanding homogeneous and isotropic universe. The conclusion is reached that galaxies cannot be formed as a result of the growth of perturbations that were initially small. The propagation and absorption of gravitational radiation is also investigated in this approximation. In Chapter 3 gravitational radiation in an expanding universe is examined by a method of asymptotic expansions. The 'peeling off' behaviour and the asymptotic group are derived. Chapter 4 deals with the occurrence of singularities in cosmological models. It is shown that a singularity is inevitable provided that certain very general conditions are satisfied.

Safety tips while viewing solar eclipse by NASA.

Ordinary sunglasses even very dark ones should not be used as a replacement for eclipse viewing glasses or handheld solar viewers.

People  who plan to view the solar eclipse should check the safety authenticity of viewing glasses to ensure they meet basic safety standards NASA has recommended. A total solar eclipse which is when the moon completely covers the sun or moon comes between the earth and the sun will occur across 14 states in the continental US on august 21 along a 112 KM wide swath of the country . more than 300 million people in the US potentially could directly view the solar eclipse and NASA wants everyone who will witness this celestial phenomenon to do so safely.

NASA message

“It’s common sense not to stare directly at the sun with your naked eyes or risk damaging your vision and that advice holds true for a partially eclipsed sun”

Out of 18,300 candidates NASA selected only 12 for the space mission.

American space agency NASA recently choose 12 astronauts for their space mission, one of the astronaut is from the Indian origin name raja chari, these astronauts selected for the deeper space study from the earth. Appropriate training is provided for the selected candidates. This group is big compare with over last 20 years that is selected for the space mission.

  • Training for two years

These astronauts gets training of space shuttle system, spacewalking skills, teamwork, Russian language etc. after completion of 2 years training those astronauts can be works for the international space center, for mission related research and study.

China taking one eye on the movement of the pulsar.

China is about to launch telescope in the milky way. And it’s name is hard x-ray modulation telescope. Its aim to monitor movement of the pulsar in the milky way. China academy of sciences (laboratory of particle astrophysics) scientists xang shuangnang said thing’s are not very accurate about movement of the pulsars in the milky way. So that according to physicist and astronauts saying anything about its internal structure is useless and unworthy, and it can not be said until somebody reaches there. In the earth there is no such instrument that makes pulsars as like dense medium.

Alien stars makes scientists to think.

Now a days scientists getting attention from the alien stars. It’s so mysterious, that makes it totally different to all other known stars. Hence scientists named as “alien mega structure”.

Otherwise its official name is KIC 8462852. About 1300 light years away from the earth. The most important thing about this star is that it’s light up and downs (increase and decrease), recently 22% it’s light decreases and that makes scientists to think about it.

Not only it’s light decreases but it will automatically return back to its original position. And this is very rare none of the star showing this type of behavior other than alien stars, according to various science magazines that star found in 2015 with the help of kepler space telescope, that particular telescope used to take hawk eye on distant stars for measurement of difference in light of the stars.

NASA’s first mission solar probe on the sun.

On the very next year NASA is going to start that particular mission, representing world’s first mission on the sun. it’s nomenclature parker solar probe. derived from the Eugine parker’s name (scientist). Under the mission study of environment and atmosphere of the sun will be cover.

That particular solar probe will reach very near to the sun’s surface where the temperature is above the thousand degree, but sun’s surface is fury and dangerous, making a material for the space shuttle in such a manner that can holds more than thousand degree temperature. After that mission the answers of those untold question can be given, as like presence of solar winds, statement given by Eugine parker about 60 years ago.

Space shuttle size as like small car but it will reveal big things, first time space shuttle nomenclature on the basis of living personality by NASA – said Thomas jurbuchen (assistance of directorate of science mission).

Bobs dwarf found out near the sun (100 light years away from the sun).

Scientists discovered new planet i.e. 100 light years away from the sun, and that is discovered with the help of infrared telescope, scientists also said that if a planet that much near to our solar system then it increases a risk of collision with the earth while any disturbance in the solar system. Hence named as bobs dwarf. Bobs dwarf previously known as brown dwarf but in that case some confusion might be makes it to rename.

GSLV Mark-3 successfully launched.

Another tale of ISRO in space science to launch heaviest rocket with the help of the launching pad from the shriharikota. G-sat-19 place at their position in 16 minute, g-sat-19 is the heaviest satellite till now i.e. launched from the Indian origin. Now sending humans to the space is going to be more easy as gslv mark-3 use as a payload for the Indian’s, next 2 flight decides it as operable then more than 10 flights makes it comfortable for the human mission into the space, and that can carry peoples of the Indian origin into the space.

After the take off and the separation of the satellite into the space it starts sending selfies from there.

India has successfully test fires prithvi – II missile.

India successfully test fired its indigenous developed prithvi – II ballistic missile from odisha’s chandipur at 10.56 a.m. yesterday. Inducted into Indian armed forces in 2003, the prithvi – II missile is capable of carrying 500 kg to 1,000 kg of warheads. In order to hit its target with precision, the missile uses advanced inertial guidance system with maneuvering trajectory. As part of training exercise, the missile was randomly chosen from the production stock. The first missile to be developed by DRDO under India’s integrated guided missile development program, prithvi – II was inducted into India’s armed forces in 2003.

ISRO soon will be carry the peoples of India into the space, its own rocket ready to departure.

ISRO is going to make a history in space science. As ISRO made their own rocket GSLV MK-3 i.e. equivalent to 200 Asian elephants and stand on launch pad situated at SHRIHARIKOTA. Soon will be launch. First of all 4 ton satellite of its rocket will be establish in the esthetic orbit of earth and then with the help of this 2 to 3 peoples will be send into the space. And ISRO is ready to making it very soon. till now India dependent on ARIEN- 5 rocket of France for this category satellites launching.

  • Now available only two category rocket.

PSLV – for satellite of 1.5 ton weight.

GSLV – MK 2 – for satellite of 2.0 ton weight.

Friday

what's going on by researchers.

  • Scientists have discovered fossils in a 3.48 billion year old hot spring deposits in the Pilbara region of western Australia.

  • USA’s female astronaut peggy whitson is on a record breaking mission to the ISS. She has been there since nov’16 and will stay until sep’17.

How space travel may reduce astronauts exercise capacity.

Astronauts abroad the international space station or those on long duration space flights, such as journey to mars or deep space are likely to have a 30 and 50 % decline in exercise capacity, say researchers. The findings showed that astronauts heart and small blood vessels are not as effective at transporting oxygen to the working muscle during space flights.

NASA is planning to send humans to mars by 2030.

Nasa is planning to send humans to mars by 2030. But to make human settlements there, we need to build houses. Thousands of tons of concrete would be needed to survive there. Since it is impossible to ship tons of concrete to mars, the best bet is for humans to start making it when they arrive.

INDIA test fires Agni – 2.

The Agni – 2 ballistic missile was successfully test fired on Thursday at 10:22 a.m. from A.P.J abdul kalam island which was previously known as wheelers island of Dhamara in Odisha. The nuclear weapon is capable of a full strike range of 2,000 km. the 20 meter long Agni – 2 missile is a two stage solid propelled ballistic missile. It has a launch weight of 17 tones and can carry a payload of 1,000 kg over a distance of more than 2,000 km. Agni missile series being developed by DRDO as a deterrent against nuclear armed neighbors’ are among India’s most sophisticated weapons.

ISRO’s solar hybrid electric car to reduce emission.

Cars running on fossil fuels cause pollution which can be harmful to both environment and life. To solve this problem, ISRO has developed a solar hybrid electric car that leads to zero emission and pollution.

Thursday

Way to NASA’s exploration future.

NASA may not know exactly where it’s going in human spaceflight, but it knows how it will get there. The agency’s current plan , of course, call for human missions to mars, first into orbit around the red planet as soon as 2033, followed eventually by trips to the Martian surface. But those plans are clouded by the uncertainty that comes with a change in presidential administrations. NASA is waiting on the nomination of a new administrator and expected re-establishment of the National Space Council to provide guidance for the agency.
